Stella McCartney at Selfridges

So as you already all know, I love Fashion. I study it, work in it, dream of it and if there was such thing as a Fashion filled cake, I'd probably eat it. (LOL).

Anyway so the other night I won exclusive tickets to a press night for the Launch of Stella McCartney's new fragrance Lily. My best friend and I went along to the evening held in Selfridges London, Ground Floor.

We were given goody bags, with free samples of the gorgeous perfume, books about the designer, a bright neon badge stating "I <3 STELLA" and some deliciously strong pink champagne truffles. The evening was great, Stella McCartney was interviewed by the Editor in Chief of British Vogue, Alexandra Shulman.

Various things were discussed including her love of the countryside and her children. Then she also uncovered she was so happy to have been chosen to help design the Official Olympic collection for Britain, but said it was so time-consuming she was worrying for her main label! (To which the audience all laughed).

After the interview, there was a chance for mingling with the fashionistas that had filled the room, including the designer herself. Cupcakes with 'STELLA' were offered by handsome waitors, and the champagne kept flowing into glasses that seemed to be never-ending.

Right at the end of the evening, as Selfridges was closing, we were offered to take some of the beautiful balloons that had been left...

It was such a great night, and I loved spending it with Mark!

Love,
L x

P.s Have you seen Stella's Olympic 2012 collection, what do you think of it?
